I was invited to appear at the Utica Music and Arts Fest in Utica New York, and was asked to create one of my 3D chalk drawings. Time was limited, as the outdoor arts portion of the festival was only one day, and it was threatening rain the entire time. But I buckled down and pulled through to create the artwork you can watch in the above time lapse video.
What you can’t see is the temperature, or how cold it was while I was working. Until the sun came out near the end of the day, most people where in light jackets and jeans, but that would be too restrictive to work on the ground, so I just dealt with it. Ahhh, the fun life of a chalk artist.
Let me know what you think of the finished time lapse video in the comments below, and thanks for watching.
