Here is my web comic version of Dig Dug for shiftylook.com, I am excited to share this piece of work with everyone.
A little back story for those who don’t know… back in April, I appeared at the C2E2 Convention (Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo) at McCormick Place spending 30 hours on the floor creating a chalk mural for shiftylook.com, a website that creates new webcomics out of old Namco Bandai game properties. I was honored when they asked me to also be a part of their 30th Anniversary Dig Dug Celebration where different web comic artists would put their own spin on this classic title.
Of course, when I work, I am know for going BIG, so my take is a 3 part story on Dig Dug 30 years later, called “The Portal”. Enjoy, and as always, let me know what you think in the comments below!
hey i saw your dig dug 30th cartoon i think you should continue it i really want to see what happens next keep up the good work
Thanks for liking the strip. I would LOVE to continue the story, but that would require the permission of shiftylook.com, who I made the strip for and who owns the rights to Dig Dug. They are fantastic to work with, so I am certainly hoping I get to do more. Fingers crossed.
